Re-Birth of the Famous ‘Fighter Meet’

After several decades in hibernation, it gives us great pleasure to announce the re-birth of the famous ‘Fighter Meet’. The Squadron Fighter Meet will be a two-day event, held at North Weald Airfield on 27th and 28th August 2022.

Following successful talks with the Epping Forest District Council team based at North Weald Airfield, The Squadron has received the official go-ahead to bring this magnificent show back to life.

The Squadron Fighter Meet will be a ground-based event, comprising of static aircraft displays, engine ground runs, passenger flights and much more. Already confirmed to attend are the prestigious Aero Legends Douglas Dakota “Drag ‘Em ‘Oot” and Mk.IX Spitfire “St George” along with B17 Flying Fortress “Sally B.” As more aircraft are confirmed to attend, further details will be released.
