What Is Happening During The Weekend?

The London Fighter Meet 2023 on the 27th and 28th August 2023 will be a celebration of the “Best of British” air displays and an exquisite blend of vintage aircraft ground displays, engine runs, classic cars, and much more. Fighters, bombers, transport and training aircraft will share the grounds on, what once was, a very significant airfield in WW2. The Squadron Fighter Meet will also showcase the Aero Legends fleet. Gates will open on all days at 10:00 with our full agenda of spectacular events throughout the day.

Travelling By Bus

Central Connect runs frequent bus services to and from the entrance of North Weald Airfield. Please check their website for further details.

North Weald Airfield is less than 2 miles from Junction 7 of the M11. Take the exit for Canes Lane and follow the road signs to “North Weald Airfield.” FREE PARKING.

Due to the scale of the event and limited aircraft parking, we will not be accepting fly-ins. If you have a vintage aircraft that you would like to fly in to partake in the static display, please email info@thefightermeet.co.uk for more information.

Travelling from Epping Tube Station

We will be offering a free coach service from Epping tube station for those that have pre-purchased an entry ticket to the event. The coach will be departing Epping tube station at 9:30, 10:30, and 11:30.
Return trips back to Epping tube station will be departing North Weald Airfield at 15:30, 16:30 and 17:30.
This coach is strictly for customers that have pre-purchased a ticket to the event.
The coach has limited seating so will be subject to availability.

We will be offering camping for spectators at The London Fighter Meet 2023 event.

The static aircraft display will allow customers to get close to the aircraft. Any customers with a “Squadron enclosure” ticket will be able to have onboard tours of select aircraft, subject to availability.

Children below the age of 5 years old are free for all tickets types.

Gates on all days open at 10:00 and the event closes at 17:00. The gates for those with a “Dinner and Dance” on 27th August will open at 19:00.

Any updates are released through the news section of this website and a full programme will be updated periodically.

Carers may gain admission to the respective enclosure using a child ticket. So if you are a carer you may gain entry with a child ticket - if you can prove you are a registered carer. Carers must provide evidence of their ‘carer’ status such as; a disability benefit award letter, Carer’s Allowance award letter or Blue Badge letter as proof of your caring role. If not available, a letter from the GP or social services could be used. If such proof cannot be produced then the full ticket price will be payable.

You can but it must be kept on a lead throughout the event. You should also consider whether the proximity to loud vintage aircraft is suitable.

The show-ground and airfield is a combination of grass and tarmac – so the site can be subject to weather conditions. Car parking is located on the airfield and wheelchair friendly buses will be coaching passengers to the main entrance of the event. You will not be allowed to drive onto the show-ground in a vehicle.

The London Fighter Meet is a pre-sale ticketed event only. QR Code Tickets are generated electronically at the point of purchase and are immediately emailed to the email address you provided. Please ensure you check your own spam folders/junk inboxes if you do not receive the QR Code ticket/s email after your payment. You cannot request a QR code ticket to be re-sent in the last 30 days before the Air show commences – as we will not have time to process your request.

Tickets can be presented on the day either in printed copy or on the screen of your mobile device.

You must read our Terms as part of the ticket purchasing process. Tickets are not refundable once purchased. Tickets are not transferable and may not be resold.
